{"id":216,"date":"2021-05-20T14:52:25","date_gmt":"2021-05-20T12:52:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/posthumus.sites.uu.nl\/?page_id=216"},"modified":"2021-05-20T14:52:25","modified_gmt":"2021-05-20T12:52:25","slug":"organisational-structure","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/posthumusinstitute.leidenuniv.nl\/?page_id=216","title":{"rendered":"Organisational Structure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The chair and secretariat of the NWP, for the period 2021-2026 hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uu.nl\/en\/organisation\/department-of-history-and-art-history\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Department of History &amp; Art History<\/a> of Utrecht University, rotates between the <a href=\"http:\/\/posthumusinstitute.org\/participating-institutes\/\">participating institutes<\/a> every five years. <\/p>\n<p>Major decisions of the N.W. Posthumus Institute are taken by the <a href=\"http:\/\/posthumusinstitute.org\/who-is-who#generalboard\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">General Board<\/a> of the NWP, convening twice a year. The General Board consists of holders of chairs in economic and social history at participating institutions. <\/p>\n<p>Daily affairs of the Institute are dealt with by the NWP <a href=\"http:\/\/posthumusinstitute.org\/who-is-who#staff\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Staff<\/a>, consisting of NWP&#8217;s Scientific Director, NWP&#8217;s Education Programme Director, and NWP&#8217;s Office Manager, in close cooperation with the <a href=\"http:\/\/posthumusinstitute.org\/who-is-who#exec-committee\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Executive Committee<\/a> of the NWP.<\/p>\n<p>The educational responsibilities of the NWP lie with the Education Programme Director, supported by the <a href=\"http:\/\/posthumusinstitute.org\/who-is-who#educ_committee\">Educational<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/posthumusinstitute.org\/who-is-who#exam_committee\">Examination<\/a> Committees.
