Posthumus Institute (NWP) is the Research School for Economic and Social History in the Netherlands and Flanders. The institute is named after <a href=\"https:\/\/posthumusinstitute.org\/nwposthumus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nicolaas Wilhelmus Posthumus<\/a> (1880-1960), the first professor in economic and social history in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p_pagvld_10365154_0 css-text-align-left\">At this moment, <a href=\"http:\/\/posthumusinstitute.org\/participating-institutes\">fifteen universities and research institutes<\/a> cooperate in the Posthumus Institute. As of July 1st, 2021, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uu.nl\/en\/organisation\/department-of-history-and-art-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Department of History &amp; Art History<\/a> of Utrecht University will host the administrative office of the N.W.
