Scheduled are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>21 February 2023:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.img.unibe.ch\/ueber_uns\/personen\/dr_zumthurm_tizian\/index_ger.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr Tizian Zumthurm<\/a> (University of Bern) &#8211; Practicing Biomedicine at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital 1913-1965: Ideas and Improvisations<\/li>\n<li>20 March 2023: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaaw.hu-berlin.de\/en\/region\/africa\/africa\/history\/staff\/dr-samuel-coghe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr Samu\u00ebl Coghe<\/a> (Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t zu Berlin) &#8211; Population Politics in the Tropics: Demography, Health and Transimperialism in Colonial Angola<\/li>\n<li>17 April 2023: Dr James Akpu (Dublin City University) &#8211; Catholic Relief Services and Nutrition in Northern Nigeria, 1955-1966<\/li>\n<li>15 May 2023: <a href=\"https:\/\/artsci.wustl.edu\/faculty-staff\/sowande-mustakeem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Professor Sowande\u2019 Mustakeem<\/a> (Washington University in St. Louis) &#8211; Slavery at Sea and the Future of<br \/>\nMedical Education<\/li>\n<li>26 May 2023: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hildebras.nl\/index.php\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Professor Hilde Bras<\/a> (inaugural lecture, University of Groningen) &#8211; African Population and Health: A Plea for an Integrated Historical Perspective<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All seminars will be hosted via Zoom 16:00-17:00 CET.
