The purpose is to create the opportunity for graduate students and early-stage researchers to present and discuss their work in an environment especially focused on constructive feedback and support. The keynote speakers for this meeting will be <a href=\"https:\/\/economics.northwestern.edu\/people\/directory\/joel-mokyr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joel Mokyr<\/a>, Professor of Economics and History at Northwestern University, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anderson.ucla.edu\/faculty_pages\/nico.v\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nico Voigtl\u00e4nder<\/a>, Professor of Economics at UCLA Anderson.<\/p>\n<p>This meeting is organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/perso.uclouvain.be\/david.delacroix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David de la Croix<\/a> (LIDAM, UCLouvain) and <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/gobbipaula\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paula Gobbi<\/a> (ECARES, ULB) in association with the <a href=\"https:\/\/ehes.org\/fresh-meetings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frontier Research in Economic and Social History series<\/a> (FRESH-organizer <a href=\"https:\/\/research.wur.nl\/en\/persons\/sandra-de-pleijt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sandra de Pleijt<\/a>). This meeting is made possible thanks to funding made available by the ERC grants of the organizers and the <a href=\"https:\/\/ehes.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Historical Economics Society<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers interested in presenting should send an abstract of max. 500 words and\/or a full paper, as well as a brief (1-2 page) CV <strong>by 31 January 2024<\/strong>.
